Fellow Citizens of the Republic,
The following is a guide on how to install the mods required to join our tes3MP server. Check it out and hit us up on Discord if you have any questions and to get the Server Name and password. See you around Morrowind!
First things first, if you haven’t seen my first guide on how to install and run Tes3MP than please do so now.
Let’s start off with Morrowind Rebirth! Morrowind Rebirth is a total overhaul for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the aim to enhance the game play by balancing certain aspects of the game, and by giving the player more to see and do. This mod has added a lot to the game while still keeping it’s core concept true to Morrowind.
You’ll have to first download Morrowind Code Patch here
Installation: Extract the zip to your Morrowind directory, the one with the Morrowind program in it (not Data Files).
Run the Morrowind Code Patch program. If Morrowind is installed in Program Files, you will need to run it as administrator.
If you get a MSVCR100.dll error, you need to download and install Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) from Microsoft.
Now we move on to Morrowind Rebirth which you can grab here.
Now we move on to the simple stuff!! Signs!!!
Yes this is purely a mod that converts the sign textures to actual words we can read in-game. Really neat mod. Grab it here.
1. Copy the content of this package to “Morrowind/Data Files”.
2. Enable the plugin using the Morrowind Launcher. (more on this below)
Precise Attack is a mod that makes our adventuring a bit easier by allowing us to hit more often in the early days of our character. Grab it here
Install by moving Precise Attack.esp into “Morrowind/Data Files”.
Now that you’ve installed all the mods it’s time to enable the plugins in your Morrowind Launcher. Go to Data Files tab
Please make sure each plugin is checked and drag them so they are identical to the Screen Shot. This is important because if you have a plugin out of the turn order than you wont be allowed into the server.
That’s it! Enjoy your time in Morrowind and if you have any mod suggestions please let me know! (already looking into better bodies mod and some others)
